The Storm was going to send players down to play with the Bears but the coaches and Coop never agreed. I think that the Bears and the Storm should do something like that just because the history of the guys in charge of both teams. Just a thought.
Do the bears have a team in the 8fl? and if they did, what would that mean for the season in the MFL? If the Cougars started an 8FL team could the players from the 8FL play in the MFL?
the 8fl isnt accepting any more new teams for the 07 season. But I think it's a great idea to possibly have the whole mfl playing in the 8fl. we have 10 teams in the 8fl compared to 4 or 5 in the mfl. Remember in the mfl all teams are considered semi pro as to in the 8fl we're all amatuer players.i think anyone who plays shouldnt be ruled to playing in 1 league and 1 only. Come check out the 8fl i'm sure every team would enjoy it.
i agree also i played 8fl before last season and there was no problem with me playin the same year after 8man why is there an issue about it mid state steels mfl team is the exact team in 8man and they won it all last year in the mfl with the same players from 8man so whats the big deal cant we just play football
You guys are a joke. The MFL is a joke and the 8fl is taking over semi-pro football in the area. Plain and simple. We will see if you guys can even make a roster of 30 players next season in the "MFL" All of the old teams are gone and forgotten. Why would you not want to play in the 8fl? Its great fun and the competition is a lot better than the MFL.
Hey Joke, Put your money where your mouth is. Several teams in the MFL have Div 1 ball players on their squads. The Cougars have several with Bowl experience. Why don't you suit it up and see who wins. Our can't you find enough players for 11 man football? Maybe the field is too long, and you will get tired, Or your tackling angles are so poor, you need a narrower field. Go talk smack on your precious 8fl site. Bears Rule!
Hey moron I was a player in the old MFL, back when it was a good league. That was before it was the Panthers, Sharks, and Bears. Two out of those three were doormats in that league and the Bears werent that far behind. There arent that many players with d-1 experience either fella. hate to break the news to you, but just because you WENT to that school does not mean you PLAYED at that school.....
Joke, why are you on an MFL teams site and talking trash? Are you somehow offended, or feel that insecure in your 8fl league, that you are posting here? My guess is you previous played in the MFL and are disgruntled about the team you played for. Maybe they sucked, or the owners were jackasses. Well I have seen some 8fl games-yea some, I didn't to everygame, but you didn't go the every MFL game either, and let me tell you, the talent level is not that great compared to other semi-pro leagues. Yea, the MFL is small, yea, the league is in a rebuilding phase-so. What does that have to do with you and yours? I agree with MFL fan in reference to your name, but he/she didn't bother giving theirs either. I am not posting as a psuedo-name like "MFL fan" or "Joke".
