After a successful inaugural season in the amateur 8-Man Football League (8FL), the Springfield Stallions are pleased to announce that for the 2007 season we will be joining forces with the American Indoor Football League (AIFL) to bring professional arena football to Central Illinois.
The Prairie Capital Convention Center will continue its host role by presenting a joint press conference on Tuesday, August 15, 2006. Representatives of the AIFL and the Springfield Stallions will make the official announcement at 10 am in the Administration Meeting Room. Immediately after, the Stallions will sign Springfield's first five hometown professional players.
The Stallions are a pro Football team now.
If you would like to tryout for the Stallions. Sept. 2nd @ 1pm at the Convention Center. Cost $65.00. in return if you make the team you will receive $250.00 a game plus a $50.00 win bonus. Plus Insurance and other perks. If you pre register the cost is $55.00

hey it's nice to see springfield coming up. but it would be nice for you to notify the bears on seeking our players on our website. what if all of our players went to your team? we may not have a team. we probably would would ok the ad anyway(god knows they need money) but maybe a phone call would of been ok first from your staff or any future teams or league in the in the future needing players.
